ACMPR

ACMPR

ACMPR is the Canadian Federal Legislation governed by Health Canada that regulates the growing of medical cannabis in Canada.

Note: as of October 17, 2019 Recreational Cannabis became legal in Canada under the Cannabis Act. The ACMPR program is not affected by this change in legislation. There will be a review of the ACMPR system by Health Canada down the road to evaluate and make recommendations for possible change. Keep tuned!

Recreational changes that Medical Cannabis Patients can adopt:

  • unlimited storage limits on cannabis and products
  • its now legal to give away cannabis flower, seeds, products, clones
  • grow an additional 4 plants (they must be labelled rec) per household
