When growling Regular Cannabis seeds it is important to separate the males from the crop as soon as possible or you will get seeds in your dried bud. This is called Sinsemilla (Spanish for without seed) and is what indoor Cultivators strive for.

Different strains show male tendencies at different rates, we had a Bubba Kush that was almost ready to flower before it showed. Photos of a male plants in different stages are shown blow.

Cannabis Pollen is valuable and can be collected easily by placing the plant upside down in a paper bag. Remember to label it and store it in the freezer for long term storage.

HERMIE CANNABIS PLANTS

Hermie (Hermaphrodite) plants look like female plants but in the mid Flowering Stage they “drop balls” and show both male and female traits. This is dangerous as the resulting seeds will not be stable and the pollen can wreck a crop.

This happens with feminized seeds that were created with strains that were not stabilized.
