Flushing is where you pump clean water through the medium you are growing in to remove chemicals from the plant before harvesting. In Hydro, the reservoir tank is emptied, cleaned and filled with pH balanced water that has stood for 24 hours. Typically this is done for the last 10-12 days of flower.

Some growers add a “rinse” agent to their flush, but less is better in our world, so no.

Flushing creates a cannabis that burns with a white solid ash structure smoothly and cleanly. We do that with NO FLUSHING!!!

Our main issue with flushing is that the leaves become dried out. brittle and hard to trim.

Also flushing uses 3 times the pot size of water, every time you water in the last 15 days of flowering. Its a waste!

and finally flushing reduces the growing time of the buds by with holding nutrients during the final Bud Building Phase. When nutrients are provided until the last week and then only pH balanced water is applied, the buds are denser and they have fabulous smell.
