Flower Testing Protocol

First Part – Physical Destruction and Observations

1. Wash your hands.
2. Create a new Testing Form for the cannabis and transfer data to the Testing Form.
3. Open packaging and weigh cannabis.
4. Take a photo of the cannabis on the tray with packaging in behind.
5. Check the buds with a jewelers loop and note the trichome density, colour, types on the test form
6. Breakup the cannabis by hand, smell it, and roll at least 4 joints. Always use papers that burn white, take one and burn it in an ashtray, if its doesn’t burn white, don’t use them! I use Gizeh Fine Hemp Papers, they burn white.
7. Check fingers for resin and make notes on the Testing Form.

Second Part – Consumption and Observations

1. Smoke one of the joints that were previously rolled.
2. Smoke another Joint.
3. Make observations on ash, taste, legs, smoothness, intensity, effects, potency, and the overall experience.
4. Note how long before effects are noticed and how long they are in effect.
5. Smoke the other 2 joints.
6. Grade the Cannabis, date and sign the form.
7. Post on Cannabis Green Team.ca website
8. Send review to client.
